Comanche Creek — This is a convenient place to camp on the way to Palisades or the Little Colorado and can be reached within a day from the rim, avoiding competition for permit space at Tanner.

Trails — The route through this area is known as the Beamer Trail. Upriver to Palisades Canyon and the Little Colorado confluence; downriver to Tanner Creek.

Routes — There is a barely feasible route from the rim on the north side of Comanche Point.
