Plateau Point — Essentially a dead-end destination and the only place I know of below the rim with a guardrail. There is no place to go but back the way you came.

Trails — The mule-trail joins this place to Indian Garden. Tonto west goes to Horn Creek Canyon.

Routes — There is an obscure descent crevice in the cliff to the west and I have seen a photo of a ponderosa tree that should not be at this elevation. An alternate approach is possible below the cliff from Garden Creek, but it is best not to be underneath the viewpoint because people will toss items off the edge there.
