| Willow Canyon — This was
a cowboy camp from the early historical period with reliable water and trail
construction, and this was the east end of improved trail from Toroweap. The trail
is now many decades without much travel, so only those parts where the landscape
has few options for the best way are still evident. This is a big area with many
side-canyon arms to cross at the head.
